Interior designer and House & Garden columnist Rita Konig has added several items to her online shop recently, including lamps by Viola Lanari and glasses by Laguna B. Also new is a range of hand-painted porcelain plates and teacups, made specially for Rita by French ceramicist Marie Daâge. Daâge works in Limoges porcelain, and all her richly-hued pieces are painted with pigments she mixes herself to achieve a striking depth of colour. The collection for Rita comes in several patterns, including sweeping leaf prints and delicate stripes. Subtle gilding around the rims completes the rich decoration. ‘I became a fan of Marie’s work 20 years ago when I began buying it for my mother Nina Campbell’s shop,’ says Rita. Prices start at £140 for a pair of plates. ritakonig.com
